Gyms, Clinics & Wellness · Southern California
Vending for gyms and clinics,
placed at zero cost.
Nuu Amenities places premium vending in fitness centers, medical and dental offices, urgent care, spas, and coworking spaces across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Hydration and recovery at the moment people want it. Waiting room essentials when the wait runs long. No cost to you, and a share of every sale.
Fitness
Your busiest hours are your least staffed.
Gym traffic peaks at 5am and again after 6pm. Smoothie bars and staffed retail counters generally do not. In a 24-hour facility the gap is even wider — there are entire shifts where a member finishing a workout has no way to buy anything at all.
That is the window vending fills. Not a replacement for your retail counter, a extension of its hours. If you already run a supplement bar, we stock around it rather than against it, and we will happily leave your highest-margin items alone.
The demand is genuinely there. A member who just finished lifting wants electrolytes or a protein drink within about ninety seconds of racking the weights, and if the option is not in front of them, the sale simply does not happen.
Not a replacement for your retail counter — an extension of its hours.
Medical & dental
Waiting rooms have a different job.
Clinic placement is not gym placement with different signage. Patients in a waiting room are often there longer than expected, sometimes fasting for labs, frequently with children, and occasionally anxious. The product mix has to reflect that.
What works: water and light snacks for long waits, phone chargers for people burning battery in a lobby, basic personal care, and pain relief. What does not: energy drinks, aggressive supplement branding, anything that reads as impulse junk in a clinical setting.
We also keep the machine's appearance quiet in these spaces. A waiting room should not look like a convenience store, and a badly chosen machine will do more reputational damage than the revenue justifies.
Merchandising
Stocked for the room it sits in.
The same machine hardware serves very different purposes depending on where it lands. We build the initial mix around your facility type, then adjust monthly against real sales data.
Fitness & studios
Electrolytes and hydration, ready-to-drink protein, bars, recovery products, and the gym-bag items people forget — deodorant, hair ties, pain relief. Cold beverages carry the volume.
Medical, dental & urgent care
Water, light and low-sugar snacks, phone chargers, tissues, basic personal care. Calm packaging, no aggressive branding, nothing that reads badly in a clinical waiting room.
Spas, salons & coworking
Sparkling water, cold brew, better-for-you snacks, and small personal care items. Presentation matters most here — the machine has to fit the room's finish level.
On competing with what you already sell
If you run a smoothie bar, a pro shop, or a front-desk retail case, tell us during the proposal. We would rather design around it than quietly undercut your margin — a placement that annoys your GM does not last, and we are looking for multi-year relationships rather than a quick install.
In practice this usually means we skip your top sellers entirely and focus on the categories you do not carry, plus the hours you are not open.
Facility types
Who this works well for.
24-hour & keycard gyms
The strongest fit in this category. Long unstaffed hours, high member frequency, and a clear product need that nothing else on site is covering overnight.
Multi-provider medical buildings
Shared lobbies serving several practices concentrate foot traffic from patients, visitors, and staff, which makes a single well-placed machine viable where one small practice alone would not be.
Coworking & flex office
Members expect on-site convenience and often work outside standard hours. Works especially well in buildings where the nearest café closes at 5pm.
