Hotel vending machines,
placed at zero cost to the property.
Nuu Amenities installs, stocks, and services premium vending for hotels, resorts, and extended stay properties across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles. Your guests get what they forgot at 11pm. Your front desk stops apologizing. Your property earns a share of every sale.
The problem
Every hotel has an 11pm problem.
A guest lands late, unpacks, and realizes they left their toothbrush on the bathroom counter at home. Or their phone charger. Or they need ibuprofen. They call the front desk.
Depending on the property, your night agent either digs through a drawer of assorted amenities, sends someone to a supply closet, or apologizes and points toward a convenience store a ten-minute drive away. None of those outcomes is good. The first two pull a lone overnight agent away from the desk. The third is the one that shows up in reviews.
This is a solved problem, and it does not require capital or staff. A well-merchandised machine in the right spot converts a moment of guest frustration into a satisfied guest and a few dollars of revenue — at no cost to the property.
The request your front desk cannot fill is the one guests remember when they write the review.
What changes
What placement actually looks like.
- We survey the property. Lobby, corridor, pool deck, fitness room — we look at where guests actually walk and where power already exists.
- We merchandise for your guest. A beachfront resort and an airport extended stay do not sell the same items. Sunscreen versus phone chargers is not a guess, it is a read of your guest profile.
- We install and power it up. Delivery, placement, payment setup, and testing. Your engineering team does not need to be involved beyond pointing us to the outlet.
- We monitor and restock. Machines report inventory remotely, so we schedule visits before shelves empty rather than after a guest complains.
- We handle every issue. Refunds, jams, repairs. Your staff has a number to call and nothing to fix. They never touch the machine.
Merchandising
What actually sells in a hotel.
Hotel vending behaves differently from office vending. Purchases skew toward urgency and forgetfulness rather than routine snacking, and they cluster late at night and early in the morning.
Forgot-to-pack essentials
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, contact solution, pain relief, feminine care. Low cost to stock, high perceived value at the moment a guest needs one, and almost never price-shopped.
Tech and travel
Phone charging cables across connector types, wall bricks, earbuds. The single highest-margin category in a hotel machine, and the one guests are most relieved to find at midnight.
Late-night food and drink
Premium snacks, sparkling water, electrolytes, and cold brew for the hours after your restaurant closes and before breakfast opens.
Placement matters as much as product
The best-performing hotel locations are usually not the ones people first suggest. A machine tucked into a back corridor by the ice maker underperforms one placed within sight of the elevator bank on a guest floor, or immediately off the lobby where a late arrival passes it on the way to their room. Visibility at the moment of need is the entire game.
If your property already has an old machine in a vending alcove, that alcove is worth re-evaluating rather than inheriting. We will tell you honestly if we think the existing spot is the wrong one.
Property types
Who this works well for.
Boutique & independent hotels
No brand-mandated amenity program to work around, and usually no 24-hour outlet. The gap between what guests want at night and what the property can offer is widest here.
Extended stay & aparthotels
Longer stays mean repeat purchases and real household needs — laundry supplies, basic groceries, personal care. Among the strongest categories we place into.
Resorts & vacation rentals
Sunscreen, aloe, beach and pool items, cold drinks. Highly seasonal, and worth stocking specifically for that seasonality rather than running a generic planogram year-round.
